Dream Horse gallops onto Android VR headsets today for kids and casual VR enthusiasts!
London, UK – 21st April, 2016: Fourthwall, the London-based virtual reality games studio, is proud to announce that debut title, ‘Dream Horse’ is launching today on the Google Play store for free. Dream Horse is available for Android with support for Mattel’s View-Master and other Google-Cardboard compatible headsets, (iOS support coming soon).
In Dream Horse, players are transported to a forest where they befriend and care for a magical horse, with whom they will explore a mystical dream-world.
“Our mission is to bring casual games to the VR space, and pet-care seemed like the perfect fit. What kid wouldn’t want their very own magical horse and be able to actually visit the forest where their horse lives?”, said Chris Etches, founder of Fourthwall. “While lots of studios are looking at the higher-end Oculus / Vive side of the market, we wanted to concentrate on being as accessible as possible, put simply, we want to make the Farmville of VR, and Dream Horse is the first step in that direction.”
Etches continued, “Bringing classic casual gameplay to VR has been a hugely interesting challenge, and we are looking to further this work with more features such as social play, set to come to Dream Horse very soon. Our second title, currently code-named 'Dream Cars' is set for release in June and will further expand the possibilities of social and competitive play within casual VR.”
Dream Horse features:
▪ Personalise your Dream Horse: Customise Hair and Mane colour and add extras such as a Unicorn Horn!
▪ Play 4 mini games with your Dream Horse: feeding, cleaning, jumping and exploring.
▪ Daily Play: Logging into the game every day will keep your Dream Horse happy!
▪ Social options: Take Snapshots of your Dream Horse and then share them with your friends!
