On another smasher of a podcast, Mat’s been to a proper flea market and found some treasures that need to be heard to be believed. He also giving his rundown of the new Final Fantasy Type-0 upon it’s completion (spoiler: he thinks it’s very good), while Tom has finally joined the current console generation with a PS4, and brought his 3DS into the future with a New, New 3DS. Mat’s spent his whole Sunday vegetated in front of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, wishing he had Wifi not only to upload these podcasts, but download the FFXV Demo, as well as some flea market bargains! Tom’s been rather frugal with his purchases, but has netted some fantastic freebies, such as the great Ollie Ollie 2, NES Remix and a copy of Digimon Rumble Arena that Mat gave him live on air…

Ok, so I may have been a little hasty in promising the upload of last week’s podcast, but here it is! On last week’s TMA, The boys discuss their current life of separation, Mat’s been building furniture, while Tom’s been saving as much money as he can. Between that, the boys have unsurprisingly been playing some games! Mat had some joy with Crayon Shin Chan 4, netted a lot of new Gameboy titles besides it & invested in a Virtual Boy, while Tom’s been playing some Shantae on the Wii U.

Happy New Year all! TMA is back for 2015! In a break from the previously scheduled ‘Best of 2014′, Tom & Mat take some time to reflect on that time of year when most Full Time Employees do a large chunk of gaming, The Chisrtmas Holidays! Mat’s been all around Wales hunting for videos games, in places that start with ll’s and lots of spitting, mispronouncing charities and buying a lot of Gameboy games, as is the norm. Tom’s on a Mega CD kick, but also netted himself a Gamegear, so let’s hope Santa brought him plenty of batteries, he’s going to need them!

Mat’s been knee deep in Gameboy action, getting confused by the apparent love for Adventure island and learning all about German children’s characters through isometric platoformers Die Maus & Ottofant. Tom meanwhile has been playing the classic Super Mario Galaxy, Shovel Knight and even a little bit of DMG himself. He did not however, think to ask the important question – Does that game contain Mechanical Dragons? What a disappointment!
