Tom had some lovely Christmas gaming treats, one of them being Jedi: Fallen Order, which he's been enjoying immensely.
So much so he decided to make it the subject of his first live stream of 2021! Seems like he might be a little out of practise however...
It's all been building to this...the final chapter of Tom's Shenmue 3 adventure! In this decisive episode Ryo and friends venture to the Red Snake's lair, which lies across the water at the old castle in a desperate rescue mission...only to get more than they bargained for...
Sometimes you really have to work for it in Shenmue 3, this is one of those episodes. There's forklift driving, fishing, herb selling and little else, but if you like that sort of thing, this might be your favourite entry into this series.
After a game of 'Guess the Animal', Ryo begins the hunt for the Bajiquan Arcane Book...only to find that it costs the earth...I guess it's back to copious amounts of fishing, herb collecting, and what's this!? Forklift driving!? Sign me up!
Everybody's Kung Fu fighting in this latest instalment of Tom's Shenmue 3 adventure! Actually, it's more like everyone's Kung Fu Training as Ryo is sent around in circles trying to look for someone who can help him improve is martial arts skills, it turns out everyone just wants him to show them his best horse stance...
Things are starting to heat up in Tom's Shenmue 3 adventure as Ren joins Ryo's quest to take down the leader of the Red Snakes in hope of saving Mr. Yuan, however is Ryo's Kung Fu up to the task? Watch and find out!
What starts out as a very sedate entry in the series (plenty of fishing), quickly turns into a fight fest! Join Tom as he goes from one extreme to another in our ongoing Shenmue 3 playthrough.
After a unwelcome QTE, things start to look up in this episode as Ryo becomes a V.I.P member of the Golden Goose club, gets into a spot of fisticuffs and calls some old friends...
Join Tom as he plays YesterMorrow for the first time and is suitably impressed with this puzzle platformer that features beautiful pixel graphics, tight controls, engrossing gameplay and a fantastic soundtrack!
NOTE: Apologises for the background hum, it looks to be caused by charging the controller while playing. I'll avoid doing this in the future, lesson learnt!

Tom's back streaming Shenmue 3 again! It ends up being a pretty exciting episode all said, as a character from the past re-appears and there's a fair amount of action to be had...however the game's design continues to show it's shortcomings in a big way. The thumbnail sums things up pretty well...
We've finally made it to Niaowu, the second area in Shenmue 3. Join Tom as Ryo explores the riverside city-village and asks everyone under the sun if they've seen Shenhua's father and has horrible tasting tea forced upon him...
It's here! After years of waiting, those of us in the west can now enjoy Phantasy Star Online 2! The game's recently arrived on European shores and Tom couldn't wait to get stuck in and give it a go!
This is the big one...finally some progress! After completing Sun's training, Ryo takes on the village thugs once more…
Things don't necessarily speed up in this latest instalment, however part 5 is certainly a more satisfying entry into the series, as Tom sets about earning 2,000 Yuan in order to purchase that 50 year-old Rice Wine.
How does he do this you may ask, by fishing, lots and lots of fishing...
Things get serious in Bailu village as the thugs has been traced to Hermit's Nest...has Ryo got what it takes to bring them down? Or is his King-Fu simply still not good enough? Watch and find out!
Tom couldn't wait to get back to Bailu and spend some more time with Ryo and friends as he continues his Shenmue 3 adventure!
So Jak 3...Tom's not played the previous Jak games to completion but is familiar with the series, not enough to really know everything that's going on in the game's story but he can at least comment on the gameplay...which is pretty disappointing, least it looks pretty if somewhat barren.
