Those games were created by the internal developers at LucasArts, a company that had been going since 1982. I use the word ‘had’ as today Disney have confirmed that LucasArts will be no-more, with development of future branded titles from IPs like Star Wars will instead come from third-party devs.
The tech demo from last year entitled Star Wars 1313, which many had tipped to be a new next generation console title, has been canned along with a number of other projects that were in various stages of development. In turn the majority of staff working for LucasArts have all been made redudent.
